Playing Windows adult games on macOS: why I made wingames

I like adult games. Finding something I want to play, then discovering there’s no macOS download, is frustrating. That gap is why I made wingames.

If you’ve found a game on itch.io or Steam and felt left out because you use a Mac, you know the problem. You want to play the game. You don’t want to spend hours of your time downloading random tools just to get it to work.

wingames lets you play Windows games on your Mac. Adult games are part of that story, and I’m happy to say so.

Adult games I’ve tested on Mac

Here are some of the games I’ve tested with wingames. The linked guides show how to get started with each game.

Windows games beyond adult games

wingames is also for other Windows games you want to play. I’ve tested Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord and Jagged Alliance 2 – Wildfire. For Jagged Alliance 2, install it through Steam in wingames, then run the game.

wingames requires macOS 15 or later. The download page has installation help if you need it.

Compatibility varies by game. My tested games list includes the games I’ve tried and links to individual guides where I’ve written them. Third Crisis 0.57.1-r, for example, may need a widescreen resolution; its guide explains the setting.

I made wingames because I wanted an easier way to play the games I enjoy on Mac. If you’ve had the same frustration, I hope it helps you get to the part you came for: playing.
